You can find us at the Wing’s Court Farmers Market in downtown New Bedford on Thursdays from 2PM – 6PM-ish (market season is early July-October).  In 2010, the market runs from July 8th until the end of October.

Other vendors at this market include Pocassett Orchards, Quansett Gardens, and Winterbottom Farm, who started harvesting corn for the July 22nd market.

Depending on the season you can find a wide variety of vegetables, sweet corn, flowers, blueberries, apples, baked goods, and more… thanks to the heat, we’ll likely start harvesting cherry tomatoes the 3rd week of July this year.

Anticipated Items Available at the Brix Bounty Farmers Market Stand on Thursday July 29th  (despite the forecast for rain we’ll be at the market with some beautiful early tomatoes):

  • Cucumbers, Summer Squash, & Zucchini (more than 8 varieties)
  • Greens:  Collards, Kale (4 types), Lettuce Mix and Heads, Savoyed Cabbage, & Swiss Chard
  • Herbs:  Basil, Dill, & Parsley
  • Beets!, Bulb Fennel, Kohlrabi, Scallions, & more… (maybe even a few melons)
  • Cherry Tomatoes (Sun Gold and Mixed Pints), early slicing varieties (orange blossom, pink beauty, etc), & maybe a few heirloom tomatoes.
